Cortez Bartolome

Programs Coordinator for the Cato Institute's Student Programs

Cortez is the Programs Coordinator for the Cato Institute’s Student Programs team, where he works on the Institute’s flagship internship and research associate programs. A former Cato intern, Cortez brings firsthand insight into the transformative impact of Cato’s educational initiatives. With a background in computer engineering and experience as a teacher and cybersecurity engineer, he has a practical understanding of professionalism and the importance of clear communication in achieving meaningful results. At Cato, he uses this perspective to help students and young professionals articulate libertarian ideas clearly and confidently, promoting David Boaz’s vision of “putting libertarians in suits and ties.”
